How it all started
From a kitchen table in Greece to helping over 700+ founders launch their businesses, worldwide.
Like many of the founders we now serve, Meraki wasn’t born in a boardroom.
It started with me, Eleni, my laptop, and a promise to myself.
I build my first website in 2013, a blog sharing interviews with people that quit their job to pursue what they love. A decade of working in the corporate marketing world followed working for the world’s biggest and most celebrated brands. Until I had the courage to leave my own job to pursue a more meaningful career in coaching and hypnotherapy.
At 33 I quit my coaching career as I was exhausted from trying all the “marketing tricks” I had to do in order to make a living. The funnels, the webinars, the formulas, the fake gloss. I tried it all, but none of it felt real. I couldn’t pretend any longer. I just wanted to help people.
I craved for authenticity in the online world.
By that time, I had build a women's coaching platform from scratch; writing, designing, coding, coaching, bookkeeping.
I realized that from all that I had done so far in my career, I loved and was best at bringing ideas creatively to life.
As I let go of my coaching business I made a promise to myself: anything I do from now on must carry my full meraki. Anything other than meraki that is not worth pursuing.
Meraki means to pour your soul in what you do,in Greek.
Two weeks later, a friend asked me to help with her Squarespace site. I said yes, and so the journey started.
In July 2020 Meraki Branding was born.
Meraki grew from a small website design studio into a full-scope, soul-led growth agency for founders who want to show up authentically and build businesses that last. Since that kitchen table, we’ve launched, transformed, and grown over 700 brands worldwide; from startups and solopreneurs to NGOs and scaling companies.
Meraki grew into a team of 15 talented individuals working remotely from all around the world.
Our clients have been featured in Vogue, The New York Times, and on Times Square (!!). Others have consciously chosen to stay small, building one-person businesses aligned with their lifestyle. We’ve supported them all;

Timeline
2013 —
My very first Squarespace website: a blog about people leaving their 9–5 to follow their heart.
2016 —
Quit my 9–5 to follow my meraki.
2018 —
Built my coaching website, which revealed my love (and talent) for branding and design.
2020 —
Meraki Branding was born at my kitchen table in Athens, Greece.
2022 —
Grew from a solo laptop business into a small team, expanding from web design into branding and copywriting.
2024 —
Launched marketing services to help our clients beyond the initial building or relaunching phase of their business.
2025 —
Spoke publicly about The Meraki Way for the first time and coined the term.
Today —
Helped over 700 founders launch, evolve, and grow their businesses online. Becoming a top 1% Squarespace Partner. Meraki has since evolved into a unique Founder’s Growth Agency: a growth partner helping founders launch, elevate, and grow their businesses and brands with both strategy and soul.
