Meraki Branding is a purpose-driven creative agency helping founder-led businesses build and grow their brands online with intention. We specialise in Squarespace web design, branding and ongoing digital marketing support. Our work is strategic and soulful; every project blends clarity, creativity and care. We’re now looking for a Sales Manager who truly understands the creative process and can confidently guide founders, sell the right services and nurture long-term client relationships.

We are hiring a Sales & New Business Manager - someone who deeply understands the digital and creative industry, has a proven track record of leading sales conversations and converting clients, and knows how to drive growth through intentional sales, strategy, and long-term partnerships.

This is a sales and business development role with account management ownership as a natural extension.

About The Role

You will own the front end of revenue at Meraki Branding - from inbound lead conversion to identifying growth opportunities within our existing client base. You’ll lead discovery calls, diagnose client needs, and confidently guide founders toward the right services based on where they are and where they want to go.

Because we are a boutique agency about five years into our journey, this role is naturally hands-on. You won't just operate within a fixed sales machine; you'll help shape how sales, account growth and handovers work as we grow into our next phase.

We are looking for someone who brings sales skill, industry knowledge, and growth thinking from day one.

 

What You’ll Own

Sales & Conversion

  • Lead discovery and sales calls for web design, branding, SEO, and ongoing digital marketing services.

  • Proactively pitch and reach out to aligned organizations and potential clients to generate new opportunities.

  • Diagnose client challenges and recommend the right solutions with clarity and confidence.

  • Communicate value, scope, pricing, and timelines clearly and honestly.

  • Create proposals, scopes of work, and pricing tailored to client needs.

  • Follow up intentionally and convert clients in a way that feels grounded, human, and ethical.

Business Development & Growth

  • Identify opportunities to grow revenue

  • Spot patterns in sales conversations and feed insights 

  • Collaborate with leadership on growth strategies and revenue forecasting.

  • Actively think and act to expand Meraki Branding.

  • Help refine and improve our sales process as we scale.

Client Relationships

  • Remain involved post-sale to ensure strong client relationship and alignment.

  • Act as a trusted strategic point of contact for key clients.

  • Ensure smooth handovers to delivery teams and clear expectations.

  • Maintain strong relationships built on trust, clarity, and results.

Operations & Internal Collaboration

  • Maintain clean, organised CRM and internal systems.

  • Coordinate with delivery teams to support successful outcomes.

  • Monitor account health, risks, and opportunities.

  • Support invoicing, payments, and financial accuracy alongside operations.

  • Contribute to improving internal processes as the agency grows.

 

Requirements

To be considered for this role, we require:

  • 5+ years proven sales experience
    You are confident in leading calls, handling objections, and successfully converting clients.

  • Industry experience or deep industry knowledge
    You understand web design, branding, and digital marketing well enough to:

    • Identify website or digital issues

    • Speak confidently about best practices

    • Guide founders strategically during sales conversations

This experience may come from:

  • Solid agency experience or

  • Being an entrepreneur who has built, marketed, and sold their own business

  • Strategic thinker who sees sales as part of long-term business growth

  • Naturally proactive in initiating conversations and building relationships with new organizations and potential clients

  • Confident, intentional, and consultative on calls

  • Warm, emotionally intelligent, and grounded 

  • Organised, systems-oriented, and proactive

  • Calm under pressure and clear in communication

  • Fluent English speaker; able to work European time zones
