Job Description | The Role
We are seeking a creative and talented Web Designer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating visually appealing and user-friendly Squarespace websites. The Web Designer will work closely with our clients to understand project requirements, implement design solutions, and ensure a seamless user experience.
Responsibilities
Create visually stunning and intuitive website designs that align with client brand guidelines and project objectives.
Collaborate with team members to gather and understand project requirements
Design graphics, icons, logos, and other visual elements for websites.
Communicate with clients and understand their needs and requirements.
Establish design guidelines, standards, and best practices that can be used team-wide.
Work with various project management tools to ensure projects run smoothly.
Incorporate functionalities and features into websites.
Prepare design plans and present website structures.
Qualifications
Exceptional writing and communication skills in English (native-level fluency required).
2–3 years of web design experience.
Strong proficiency in Squarespace (preferred).
Impeccable skills in Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD) and Canva.
Experience in client-facing roles with native English speakers.
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, or related field (preferred).
Portfolio showcasing a strong understanding of design principles and successful (web) design projects.
Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and a basic understanding of web development principles is preferred but not required.
